I’ve heard her name, but never took a good enough look at her work until I met with Sam yesterday. I am completely blown away by these paintings. They are so lush and soft, I could swim within them all day. They’re all beautiful and exceptionally executed, but they also feel so uncomfortable. “Hybrid” (the fourth piece in the set) is the one I gravitate towards the most. It’s almost difficult to look at, but it really says something to me.
