I don’t know if this is inappropriate of me to ask of you, and I’m sorry if it is. But can you keep my friend and his family in your thoughts? I just found out that he committed suicide this afternoon. I’m a little out of sorts and I don’t think I can muster enough strength to paint tonight. I’m hoping I’ll wake up tomorrow feeling better, or at least motivated to get some work done. But right now, I feel empty and broken. I don’t know how to keep it from consuming me. The thought of me starting a new painting this late before the crit is terrifying, but just thinking of how wonderful it is to have the support of such tender-hearted and talented friends and artists is inspiring. Thank you all for your endless support.
